Are these kids not the cutest? I was browsing for a dress to wear to a baby shower next month and of course had to check out the little girls section over at Crew Cuts. Photos like these is the reason why I’m broke having a daughter. But who could resist?

baby stats prediction cards
Recently I had a custom order for a baby shower suite which included game cards we called: baby stats predictions. Each guest guesses the stats of what the baby will be. What a neat idea! So I created these darling cards to match the rest of the suite.
What do you think? Something you might purchase if it was on the new website?

printable babysitter’s notepad

Got another free printable for you! This one was inspired by one of my dear readers, Amy. She said her notes to the babysitters were written on scrap paper found lying around the house. I’m sure she’s not the only one out there, right? So here’s a cute one where all the essential information is laid out for peace of mind. Important phone numbers, where the parents will be that day/night, and what’s most important to me, the allergy/medicine section. If you read my earlier post this week, you’ll know why it’s important for everyone who cares for your child to know their health issues and how to treat them. And there’s also a little miscellaneous section for notes such as bedtimes, meals, routine, etc…
I’ve gotten so many great suggestion from ya’ll so keep ‘em coming! The notepad is available for free download below or on the sidebar.

Branding Package

I’ve had a lot of design inquires lately which forces me to put on my creative hat and think outside the box. My friend contacted me asking for a little makeover for her etsy shop, Sassylicious. Her simple request was for pink, blue and brown and polka dots. Because she sews toddler backpacks, pillow dresses, and other goodies for the wee ones I incorporated a needle and thread. Simple, fun, and versatile!
why?
As we’re driving home from Children’s Medical Center this afternoon and my 2.5 year old daughter is fast asleep after a terrifying ride in the back of an ambulance and then dosed with Benadryl, I started to ask myself why. Why am I healthy and allergy-free and my precious and defenseless daughter is plagued with all known allergies? Why can’t I be the one who needs to watch everything I eat? Why couldn’t I be the one sitting on the gurney and not her? Why God, why not me?
She is doing fine. She is such a trooper. Only she would be playing with all the gizmos and gadgets attached to her. Only she would be smiling and coloring and watching Willy Wonka while doctors poke and prod her. Only she will take this all in stride.
Lord, give me an ounce of her strength.
new hoot suite

Today I decided to switch up my morning routine so I went to bed at 10:30 and woke up at 4am to get ahead start on the day. So glad I did! I was able to work uninterrupted for 2 hours, get in a good workout with Jillian Michaels, and eat a yummy breakfast. Within those 2 hours I put together these cute suites that I can’t wait to put up in the new shop. A great way to start the day, right?
printable weekly calendar

A reader had a suggestion that I offer weekly printable calendars and I couldn’t have agreed more. I’ve always wanted to put together a free printable for you and her suggestion just got me going. So here you have a printable weekly calendar that you can download and print as many times as you’d like. There’s enough space to jot down notes for what needs to be done and what appointments need to be kept for each member of the family. And the color scheme was designed with spring and summer in mind.
Over on the sidebar I created a section for printables where you can go and download. I do plan on offering more so if you have something in mind, do share! In the meantime, go ahead and download by clicking the link below or the sidebar then come back and let me know what you think. Enjoy!
