Happy weekend friends!
Good wine, food, friends and family are all I wished for my birthday this year and it’s coming true! Tonight my dear friend, K, is taking me to dinner and to see Eat Pray Love. I wanted to finish reading the book before seeing the movie but my wish for more hours in a day was rejected. Oh well…I’ll still see it. Tomorrow we’re taking part in the last day of tax free weekend here in CT to get KB some fall/winter clothes as she is in desparate need of them. Maybe a few articles of clothing for mom will sneak into the bag too, we’ll see. And to round out the weekend the hubby is taking me on what he calls “Bridgett’s Birthday Spectacular”. No joke, he actually wrote that on the calendar. I think I figured out the surprise but won’t say so in case I’m wrong. Don’t fret, I’ll come back Monday with all the details.

Oh, sounds like a lovely weekend you have planned. Please do let us know what you think of the movie!
We will be hanging out as a family. My husband is back to work on Monday, which means he’ll be away from home quite a bit once again. It’s been so great having him home for the past three weeks, but now we’re back to reality!
